In a quiet corner of Meridian, Idaho, a hidden neighborhood bursts into bloom each spring, with plum trees blushing in every direction like a secret celebration. As I sat painting beneath one of these trees, surrounded by petals and light, something still felt unfinished—until a young girl in a pink dress appeared and gently leaned against the very tree I was capturing. In that instant, it was as if the Sugar Plum Fairies themselves had choreographed the scene. It became more than a painting—it became a memory stitched with wonder.
