This painting was where it all began.

I set up just after sunrise along the edge of Redfish Lake—drawn by the still water, the crisp morning air, and the soft reflection of pines and peaks resting on the surface. The world felt hushed, like it was holding something sacred.

As I painted, a wedding party emerged from a nearby lodge—bundled for an early hike before the warmth of the day. They stopped, quietly, taking in the scene… and then gathered around my easel. One of them asked if they could buy the painting—right there, right then.

That moment changed everything.

It was more than encouragement—it was a nudge from God, a breath of affirmation. The quiet spark that told me:

“You’re ready. This is the beginning.”

Morning Reflections is more than a landscape. It’s the first step in a journey of beauty, faith, and light—captured at the edge of a lake that started it all.
