Winter Glory captures a radiant winter sunset along the river on the way to Horseshoe Bend, where snow and sky glow with color and quiet hope. Painted along the river near Horseshoe Bend, Idaho, Winter Glory celebrates the breathtaking skies that arrive at day’s end in the heart of winter. Snow-covered banks frame the water as sunset unfurls in layers of rose, gold, and violet - colors so rich they seem to warm the cold air itself.

There is hope woven into this scene. The reflections stretch long across the river, mirroring a sky alive with promise, reminding us that even in winter’s depth, light still arrives generously. This painting holds that assurance - the quiet strength of beauty returning, again and again.
