16x20 original gouache

The lovely historic Rainbow Bridge on the drive up to Lake Payette and the town of McCall, Idaho is a favorite. So many memories it's hard to summarize how this moment, passing over the bridge, embodies the sense of possibility. I transferred a wonderful sunset we've seen on the lake to this place, as it always feels so magical and steeped with hope and joy.
