10x8 original gouache

One summer, our family enjoyed the long, winding road between the Sawtooth Mountains at Redfish Lake and into Ketchum, Idaho by Sun Valley. What a treat watching the meadows and severe, tall mountains shift by as we drove. I wanted to capture that moment of feeling the wild, awesome glow of summer just before fall. Majesty like that captivates me.
