8x10.5 original gouache

One summer, our son picked a family hike high in the mountains outside of McCall, Idaho for us to explore. After an afternoon beside a glorious lake high, we made our way down the mountain, and stopped beside a field of flowers that were so breathtaking. There was this imaginary symphony of color happening without anyone to observe it, filled with butterflies and birds and shimmers of Heaven's glory. A magical place indeed.
